‘Thanks so much for the insiprational lessons. The children have loved doing the dancing and the choice of song was brilliant too! I am truly amazed that you have managed to put it all together in so short a time, given less than an hour each week- you are a STAR!’– Mr Clayton (Netherthong Primary)

‘A wonderful experience for all of the children. A definite highlight of their multi-cultural week, we’d love to have you back anytime!’– Mrs Akbar (East Garforth Primary, Leeds)

‘For the last two years Dance Emporium have come into our school and taught my year 5/6 class Street dance brilliantly. They have performed these dances with confidence on stage at the Lawrence Batley Theatre. The sessions have given everyone a chance to enjoy dance and succeed. Many children now want to take up dancing outside school. I would highly recommend this to other schools’- Mr Crouch (Netherthong Primary School)

‘The children at LJS really enjoy Ashleigh’s dancing and teaching and come back term after term to particpate in her lessons. They have learnt many styles over the years from Soca and Street dance to Salsa and Jive. Ashleigh has a great talent and a huge range of dance experience and skills that she is keen to share’– Ms Hawkes (Lindley Junior School, Huddersfield)

‘Dance Emporium’ came to our school and carried out a number of workshops with our children. The children from our school come from many different cultural backgrounds and the majority are Muslim, so dance isn’t always something they can enjoy in their day to day lives. Ashleigh soon got them excited with her love for dance and many of them gained a huge confidence boost from the workshops. Dance Emporium tailored the routines to our needs to make sure they fit in with our topics, no request was too much. Ashleigh was very proffessional, but also very pleasant. I would like to thank Dance Emporium so much for opening our children’s eyes to the world of dance and would not hesistate to use them again in the near future’- Miss Johnson (Beech Hill School, Halifax)

‘I cannot recommend Ashleigh enough! Students respect her and respond really well to her friendly manner, following instructions quickly and learning some quite complex routines in a matter of hours. She carefully plans accordingly to create the most effective results. Having watched her perfom, I know that the skill, talents and vast amounts of energy she channels into her own performances are reflected in her teaching. She is flexible around the ever changing routines of a school and always tries to watch her students in their performances, even if it means taking time out of her busy schedule to do so. I look forward to working with Dance Emporium in the years to come!’- Mrs Evans (All Saints High School)
